Our Process
The quality of fish reaching the consumer or processing factories will greatly depends on how the fish is handled onboard the vessels, how it is preserved, packed and transported.
Advantages of filleting includes reducing the cooking time and makes it easier to portion and eat. It is particularly useful for bigger fish, especially meatier varieties that don't easily fall apart.
This is the process of removing the skin from fish for various reasons which include diet, taste and appearance.
This process removes all unwanted or inedible parts (i.e. skin, fat etc.) from the fish. The removed parts are called trimmings and are used for making stocks, soups and sauces.
Decaying of fish takes place in the wake of not preserving it, which gives rise to the growth of bacteria and loss of their protein and fat. Thus there is need for fish freezing for preservation.
In the end of the process, we are able to get fresh fish products. Packaging, labeling and distribution are the final stages of fish processing.
